Meghan McCain and her husband Ben Domenech have expanded their family once again, welcoming their third child together. The couple recently shared the joyful news that they are now parents to a baby boy, a moment Meghan described as overwhelmingly happy and deeply meaningful for their growing household.

The television personality revealed that their son, Ransom McCain Domenech, was born in the early hours of Friday, January 2, 2026. Meghan took to Instagram to announce the arrival, reassuring followers that both she and her newborn are doing well following the birth. In her heartfelt post, she expressed gratitude and excitement, writing that the family is completely blissed out and adjusting to life with their newest addition.

“We are beyond thrilled to share that our son Ransom McCain Domenech arrived at dawn on January 2nd, weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces,” Meghan wrote. “Everyone is healthy, happy and understandably exhausted.”

She also took a moment to thank the doctors and medical staff who supported her throughout the delivery, praising their care and compassion during an emotional time for the family.

Ransom’s arrival officially makes Meghan and Ben a family of five. The couple are already parents to two daughters, Liberty Sage, aged five, and Clover Jade, who is two. Meghan shared that her daughters are overjoyed to welcome a baby brother and have embraced their new roles with excitement and affection.

“Our girls could not be happier,” she shared. “Liberty and Clover are so excited to have a little brother. We are incredibly grateful for all the love, prayers and kind messages. Our family feels truly blessed.”

Meghan, who is the daughter of late U.S. Senator John McCain and philanthropist Cindy McCain, first revealed she was expecting her third child back in June. Since then, she has spoken openly about pregnancy, motherhood and balancing family life with her professional commitments.

She previously discussed her pregnancy journey on her podcast, Citizen McCain with Meghan McCain, where she was joined by Second Lady Usha Vance. During the conversation, Meghan reflected on raising children, the challenges of motherhood and the joy that comes with growing a family.

The birth of her son also carries emotional significance. Meghan has been candid in the past about experiencing a pregnancy loss in 2019, a moment that deeply shaped her outlook on motherhood. She has spoken publicly about finding comfort in her faith and believing that her late father remains spiritually close to her family.

Professionally, Meghan is widely known for her time as a co host on The View, where she appeared from 2017 to 2021 as one of the panel’s most outspoken conservative voices. Her tenure on the daytime talk show was marked by passionate debates, personal storytelling and frequent headlines.

Beyond television, Meghan has built a multifaceted media career as a bestselling author, columnist and podcast host. She continues to engage audiences through political commentary, cultural discussions and honest conversations about family, identity and faith. Meghan and Ben Domenech, a conservative writer and editor, married in November 2017 and have since shared much of their family journey with the public through social media and interviews.

With the arrival of baby Ransom, the couple begin a new chapter filled with late nights, sibling bonding and cherished first moments as they settle into life as a family of five.
